I would highly recommend looking into Accutane (or generic). I had cystic acne in my early-mid 20's on my face and back. I tried retin-a and antibiotics as well as non-medical beauty products. Nothing worked. I was on the generic of Accutane for 2 bouts, each lasting 5 months. Today I am in my early 30's and acne free. My skin and hair is less oily too. It was definitely worth it for me.
